The Arya Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji welcomes the comments made by the Interim Prime Minister to have a common name for the people of Fiji.
Sabha President, Kamlesh Arya said that they have been endorsing similar sentiments in the past that everyone living in Fiji belongs to Fiji.
Arya also said that as far as the issue of Indian communities ruling Fiji is concerned, they never had the intention of doing it as they have always contributed towards developing Fiji.
The Interim Prime Minister had earlier stressed that he wants a common name for all the people of Fiji as he said every person who lives in the country is a Fijian adding that racial divisions should be eradicated as the racial barriers are the main cause of Fiji's problems.
