The Arya Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji has questioned on the excessive consumption of liquor during the Christmas festival.
Sabha's President, Kamlesh Arya said religious organizations should now take a stand on the issue as excessive consumption of liquor usually leads to assault and rape cases.
This comes after a number of stabbing incidents have occurred during this Christmas period.
