SGS/ACS Retain Titles
In the Boys division, Suva Grammar grabbed the first spot with 10 gold medals, 5 silver and 2 bronze, Marist came in second with 5 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze.
In the Girls, ACS made history and grabbed 15 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze. Suva grammar came in second with 4 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze.Adi Maopa Secondary all the way from Vanuabala came in third with 3 gold and 1 Silver.
For the best athletes of the Games, Suva Grammar grabbed both honors in the boys and girls division, with the boys going to captain, Aporosa Tabualawaki who helped the squad grab 3 gold medals, with Makelesi Tumalevu taking the honors for the Best Female Athlete.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Suva Grammar School Coach, Jone Delai said the boys really did their best and said a number of gold medals in the field events also contributed to their win.
However, he admitted that he had to work on the girls team.
Meanwhile, Managers of winning Adi Cakabou School, Laisa Navoa, this year’s competition was just as tough as they had imagined it to be.
According to her, the girls from Sawani were told to give their best in this year's competition.
The Medal Tally Again, coming in first in the Boys' Division Suva Grammar had 10 Gold, 5 Silver, 2 Bronze, Marist Brothers High came in second with 5 Gold, 3 Silver, 5 Bronze and in third place was Natabua High with 4 Gold, 6 Silver and 1 Bronze.
For the Girl's Division, went to the Queens of the tracks, Adi Cakobau School with 15 Gold, 6 Silver and 6 Bronze, in second was Suva Grammar 4 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze and in third place was Adi Maopa Secondary with 3 Gold and 1 Silver.
