Two students of Suva Grammar School have been chosen to participate at the International Judo Federation Cadet World Championship Cup in Miami next month.
Form 5 students Tevita and Viliame Takayawa will travel to Japan for a 3 week training camp to prepare for the championship.
Viliame who is nervous about his first trip to Japan and USA said he is working hard on his technique and fitness in Fiji and it will be further boosted when they train with the best Judo clubs in Tokyo.
The 16-year-old said judokas from two countries will be their biggest threats during the World Championship in Miami.
The World Championship will be held in Miami on the 3rd and 4th of August.
They need to finish in the top eight to qualify for the Youth Olympics in China.
