We are doing it for our children and we hope they do well.
Those are the words of the President of the Suva Grammar School Parents Teachers Association, Viliame Naupoto as the parents of the school continue to stand by the athletics squad.
Naupoto said the PTA knows that the Grammarian team will do well in this year's Coca-Cola Games.
Parental support is paramount when it comes to this type of competition and Naupoto said they are trying to ensure that students enjoy the games.
Naupoto said it would be a bonus if Suva Grammar School successfully defends the boy's division title as the school is also having it's Golden Jubilee celebrations this year.
Grammar lost the Suva Zone 2 boys division title this year. However Grammar itself has proven in previous years that a school can lose the zone title and come back and win the Coca Cola Games.
Marist won the Suva Zone 2 title with 22 gold, 18 silver and 15 bronze.
The Grammar boys came in second with 12 gold, 12 silver and 4 bronze.
Grammar is also expected to provide stiff competition to the defending champions in the girls division, Adi Cakobau School.
ACS which again has a very strong squad is aiming to win the girl's division for the tenth straight year.
