Suva Grammar School's Under 19 rugby team won't feature in the Deans Secondary Schools quarterfinals this year.
This is after they were beaten 11 points to 5 by Marist Brothers High School in the 3rd and 4th place playoff of the Southern Zone Secondary Schools competition at the TFL National Stadium.
Both Grammar and Marist scored a try each but Jale Vatubua was accurate in his kicking today, as he slotted in two penalties in their 11-5 victory.
The Suva Grammar under 19 side will now play in the Tier 2 quarterfinals.
The Under 19 final between Nasinu Secondary and Ratu Sukuna Memorial School is currently underway at the TFL National Stadium.
Meanwhile, the West Zone 2 final in the under 19 between Ratu Navula and Lomawai and also the final in the Eastern Zone between Queen Victoria School and Lelean Memorial School is currently underway.
