The sound of ex-scholars of Suva Grammar School singing the school song was last night heard throughout Albert Park as the 80's decade held a "Night at the Museum" event part of the schools 50th Golden Jubilee Celebrations.
Chief Guest at the SGS 80's decade event Papua New Guinea High Commissioner Peter Eafere said Suva Grammar School has been a leading example of an institution where there is harmony between people of different cultures.
SGS 80's decade committee member Buna Nagera said the reason behind the extravagant events is to raise money for their project part of their "Give Back to Grammar" campaign.
Meanwhile PNG High Commissioner Peter Eafere donated $1,000 towards the 80's decade efforts in upgrading works at the school.
The Suva Grammar School Golden Jubilee Celebrations continues today with the 90's decade carrying out a cleanup day at the school as part of their "Give Back to Grammar Campaign"
