The Suva Grammar School Under 17 girls Basketball team looks good to qualify for the semifinals after recording their second win in the Tuckers Ice Cream Secondary Schools Basketball championship.

The Lions thumped Ratu Sukuna Memorial School 25-2 this morning and they also beat Gospel High School 28-17 yesterday.

Suva Grammar captain Paulini Elder said they are ready for the challenge.


Looking at other Under 17 girls results, ACS thrashed RSMS 25-2 and Gospel High beat Tilak High School 15-11.

In the Under 17 boys division QVS beat Marist Two 10-8 while Ba Provincial Freebird Institute defeated Gospel 31-26.

Meanwhile, Natabua High School is currently playing Marist in the Under 15 boys division while Grammar is taking on QVS in another Under 15 match.
