Suva Grammar and Marist Brothers High School's Under-19 teams look good to advance into the quarterfinals of the 2009 Deans competition.
Both teams remain unbeaten in the Southern Zone competition and drew in their match last Saturday and hope to advance into the quarterfinals in August.
Officials from the Lions camp are quiet but are hoping that the Suva Grammar team will advance into the finals this year.
Suva Grammar lost to RKS in last year's semifinals and RKS went on to lose the finals to Lelean Memorial School.
The Deans quarterfinals will be held at the TFL stadium on August 8.
