The streets of Suva is expected to be flooded with the blue and yellow colors of past and present students of Suva Grammar School, as they kick off their Golden Jubilee celebrations this Saturday with a march.

The school was established on 9th February 1960, where the Boys and Girls Grammar schools joined forces to form what is now known as Suva Grammar school at Veiuto.

The Golden Jubilee was officially launched by its patron, Gerald Barrack in August, last year.

SGS Ex-students Association President Jasmine Tam said the 50's to 2000 decades have been busy preparing for the celebrations, with merchandise and memorabilia for the event being sold out at various outlets.

Tam added that more than a quarter of ex-students attending the celebrations are coming from overseas.
