SGS 90s decade hands over ambitious project
The Suva Grammar School's 90's decade from the beginning of this year adopted a school block each and carried out renovation works as part of the Suva Grammar School 50th Golden Jubilee Celebrations.
At the official handing over ceremony of the "Ties that bind - Give back to school project", president Jim Tora said witnessing the deteriorating state of the school facilities was something they could not overlook and all agreed something needed to be done.
Tora said although it will be a huge task to try and get the school facilities back to it's glory days, they are confident that they will reach their goal.
Meanwhile Principal Waisake Ravatu has praised the hard work of the ex-scholars in trying to give current students a better and cleaner learning environment.
The Suva Grammar School 50th Golden Jubilee Celebrations continues this evening with the 90's decade holding a "Chill out night at the Suva Tennis Club".
