National Federation Party General Secretary, Pramod Rae said that they have learnt to consider caution and some reservations over these kinds of announcements.
Rae said that as far as the performance of the Ministers are concerned they haven't seen any difference.
The Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama yesterday announced that he will reduce the current cabinet size from 17 to 13 interim ministers from the 1st of next month.
While making the announcement, Bainimarama said ten months have now lapsed since the President appointed the interim government and it is now timely to critically evaluate the performance of the interim government in relation to the mandate of the President.
Successful bidders for the mobile licenses will be announced by the end of this weekend.
This is the view of Interim Minister for Commerce and Telecommunication, Taito Waradi who said the announcements will come after the compensation issue is discussed and settled with Amalgated Telecom Holdings stakeholders regarding their hold on the telecommunications market.
The meeting between the Interim Government and the ATH stakeholders is currently underway in Nadi.
