Naitasiri high chief and SDL patron Ratu Inoke Takiveikata said the party has already identified the person to be the next president of the SDL party after Ratu Kalokalo Loki resigned last month.
Speaking to FijiVillage, the Naitasiri high chief said the party expected to endorse the name of the party president during their annual general meeting on the 23rd of May.
However, Ratu Inoke has ruled out his name as the likely contender.
Ratu Inoke said the people of Naitasiri were behind the SDL party and there is no intention of forming another political party.
He only said that forming another political party costs money and resources.
