The Soqosoqo Duavata Ni Lewenivanua is expected to know this afternoon whether or not they will be given a permit to conduct their Annual General Meeting this Saturday.
National Director Peceli Kinivuwai said they are expected to get a confirmation on the permit from Police by this afternoon.
The AGM is the first meeting to take place after the SDL government was overthrown by the military on December 6th, 2008.
At the meeting the SDL members are expected to appoint a new President after Ratu Kalokalo Loki resigned from the position earlier this year for personal reasons.
