The SDL party will go ahead and file the treason complaint against the interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama, senior military officers and members of the interim Cabinet despite the court ruling which upheld the President's executive powers after the events of December 2006.
SDL lawyer Niko Nawaikula confirmed to Fijivillage that the party had already announced that they will appeal the decision of the High Court which paves the way for them to file the treason complaint.
Police Commissioner Commodore Esala Teleni had already confirmed that the treason complaint will not be investigated.
