The SDL party has challenged the Interim Finance Minister, Mahendra Chaudhry not to accuse them of being a racist government.
SDL's National Director, Peceli Kinivuwai was referring to the introduction of the Qoliqoli Bill and the Indigenous Claim Tribunal being introduced by SDL and branded by Chaudhry as racist policies.
In an interview with Fijivillage News, Chaudhry questioned people where were the current human rights champions when he was ousted and when racist policies were being introduced by the SDL.
Chaudhry who was ousted in 1987 and 2000 said those people who are now fighting for human rights did not utter a word when his government was overthrown.
