The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption has today revealed that some SDL party officials are expected to face charges soon.
FICAC Deputy Commissioner, Colonel George Langman said some SDL members will face charges in relation to Corruption and they are now assessing all the evidence.
When questioned about FICAC's stand on the allegations of tax evasion against a certain interim minister, Langman said FICAC does not have tax expertise to investigate those who evade taxes.
He said all tax related matters are now forwarded to FIRCA for investigations.
When questioned why FICAC officials searched the FIRCA office when investigating suspended Chief Justice Daniel Fatiaki, Langman highlighted that FICAC investigators only went to FIRCA to confiscate certain documents and not to investigate FIRCA.
Meanwhile, Langman has also confirmed that no complaints have been received from anyone against the Interim administration.
