The SDL party maintained their stand that they will not join the National Council for Building a Better Fiji.
SDL's National Director Peceli Kinivuwai was reacting to the invitation by the Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama yesterday where the Interim government through NCBBF is trying to prepare an acceptable basis for restoring democratic governance next year.
Meanwhile, the Interim Prime Minister had also told opponents and detractors of the People's Charter that their efforts to block the change will be in vain.
