A stern warning has been issued by the Suva City Council to the religious groups holding services that they should not make excessive noise.
Suva City Council’s Special Administrator, Chandu Umaria said the religious groups should be mindful of their neighborhood as excessive noise levels achieve nothing for the community.
Fijivillage also questioned Umaria about the excessive noise levels from a church group near the Suva Bus Stand.
Umaria said they have to follow the council’s directive.
