Major plans have been made by the Suva City Council to make Suva one the model cities in the South Pacific in the next five years.
Administrator Vijendra Prakash said they aim is to attract more local investors to ensure more complexes and buildings are built in the capital city.
He said cleanliness in Suva City, foreshore development for building 5 star hotels and upgrading Thurston Garden is other plans they will be focusing on this year.
Local government ministry has revealed that all administrators will be in their offices for the next five until the next general elections.
