Suva City Councils Special Administrator Marica Hallacy has resigned after just 5 months in office.
Hallacy confirmed to Fijivillage that her resignation was effective immediately as of today.
Suva City Council fare welled her with a evening function where SCC members thanked her for her refreshing leadership.
Hallacy has led numerous projects for Suva and Lami areas including the Suva Crime Free and Earth hour projects.
The Minister for Local Government Colonel Samuela Saumatua is yet to comment on the matter.
