The Suva City Council today launched the Performance Management System (PMS) in what it terms a historic milestone.
Launching the PMS, Lord Mayor Ratu Peni Volavola said the Council, ratepayers and customers will benefit with better services through efficient and effective means.
Volavola announced the PMS within the SCC will be implemented on Friday.
However, there are still some questions raised on the launch of the PMS today as the SCC Staff Association had filed a dispute with other unions on the matter, which is currently before the Arbitration Tribunal, to be heard on the 6th of January.
The SCC Staff Association is expected to comment later.
