Former Chiefs center and All Blacks star Sonny Bill Williams may return to Toulon, according to French reports.
Williams’ future beyond the Rio Olympics – providing he makes the New Zealand sevens team – remains uncertain.
Rugby League via the NRL has been one discussed option with the Roosters keen to have him back.
But it seems there may be some unfinished business in France, where Williams first learned to play rugby.
Meanwhile the Chiefs will take on the Blues at 7.35pm Friday.
