South Africa has not been a favorite hunting ground for the Digicel Fiji Sevens team as the title has been eluding them for the past six years.

The last time Fiji came close was in 2009 where they lost to New Zealand in the final by 21-12 while the last time they won in South Africa was in 2005 when they beat Argentina 21-19 in the final.

Meanwhile, the All Blacks Sevens team is the most formidable side in the history of the tournament as they have featured seven times in the final for the past eight years and they have been victorious on six occasions.

Captain DJ Forbes said they may be the best but they still have a lot to offer this weekend.
