The South Africa 7s team has been hit by two major blows for next week's Rugby World Cup 7s tournament.

Paul Treu's two of the most experienced players in the squad, Mzwandile Stick and Marius Schoeman, will not be considered for selection.

Treu said Stick and Schoeman are definitely out while there is still a chance that Neil Powell will be fit, but a decision will be made tomorrow.

Both Stick and Powell have captained the Boks and Schoeman is South Africa's most experienced player. The injuries to these three have and will cost the Springboks plenty, in terms of experience.

Treu said the preparations for the World Cup have not been great due mainly to the players fatigue. The guys had a bit of a break after San Diego, but they didn't look sharp when they trained on Monday.
