Former Fiji 7's player, William Ryder's house in Nabouwalu was completely burnt in a fire yesterday afternoon.
Divisional Crime Officer Northern, ASP Luke Rawalai said Ryder's father was at his nearby farm when the fire started.
Quick action by Nabouwalu Police saved the life of a three year old boy who was sleeping in the house.
Police at this stage have not ruled out arson as Officers continue with their investigation. The cost of damage stands around $30,000.
