Former Fiji 7s rugby sensation, William Ryder will boost the star studded Wardens team in the opening Digicel Suva 7s series which will kick off this morning at the TFL Stadium.

Ryder who is trying to win back the playmakers position in the national 7s team will team up with Jerry Burotu, Pio Tuwai and Setefano Cakau in the Wardens line-up.

Current 7s captain Emosi Vucago is also likely to be in the team which will give them the favorites tag for the 2 day tournament.

Suva Rugby Union Chairman Vilikesa Rauca said with such players in the team it will make the tournament interesting as other top clubs will be out to topple them.

The winner of the Suva 7s will walk away with $5,000 and also cash prize will be given to teams reaching the elimination.

The Suva Rugby 7s tournament will kick off today at 9:30am at the TFL National Stadium.
