Ryder fails to impress
Ryder has not been impressive in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament and in all their games so far he has come in only as a replacement.
It is even believed that the national selectors are not happy with his performance and have shown concern after he opted to play for the Lomaiviti side rather than the Digicel Fiji Warriors team.
The national selectors will this afternoon announce the 25-man squad that will go for fitness tests on Monday with the final 12-man team to Dubai will be announced on Tuesday.
Likely players to be in the 25-man squad are: Apolosi Satala, Semisi Naevo, Napolioni Nalaga, Sireli Bobo, Jone Daunivucu, Filimoni Delasau, Filimoni Bolavucu, Neumi Nanuku, Dan Rawaqa and Nasoni Roko while local players who could force their way into the squad maybe Peni Rokodiva Junior, Vereniki Goneva, Jerry Burotu, Pio Tuwai, Osea Kolinisau, Watisoni Votu, Emosi Vucago, Apisai Nayaco and Waisale Suka.
