Japan based William Ryder has called on the Fiji Rugby Union to reconsider their stance on Maestro Waisale Serevi and give him another shot at the Hong Kong tournament at the end of the month.

Ryder adds he respects the decision made by the FRU but feels that Serevi has the edge and experience to guide the team when under pressure.

Ryder, who arrived in the country this morning, says its unfortunate Fiji lost the last four tournaments but believes that with the right selection and right positional play the boys can make a comeback.

The Japan based Bua flyer will feature for Nawaka and will play alongside Semisi Naevo and Norman Ligairi in this weeks Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament.
