It has been confirmed that, Digicel Fiji 7's playmaker in the 2006/07 IRB series, William Ryder has declared his availability to play for Fiji at the tournament in Hong Kong.

Ryder, who plays for the Tokyo club in Japan, is serving a suspension with fellow sevens star Lepani Nabuliwaqa which ends in 31 December.

Ryder states that club commitments mean that he would be available for the prestigious Hong Kong 7's in March, when the Japanese league ends.

In a statement on irb.com, Ryder said that if need be, he will play for Fiji, but, he does not think that he will be available for the Wellington 7's but the people of Fiji can count on him in Hong Kong.
