Japan based William Ryder and Semisi Naevo could force their way into the 12-man Digicel Fiji 7s squad to Wellington and San Diego 7's next month.

It is understood that Ryder and Naevo are available for the second leg of the IRB World 7s Series.

Digicel Fiji 7s coach Waisale Serevi has named both Ryder and Naevo in his South Seas Drifters team that will be competing in the "Hottest" Darwin 7s later this month, which will serve as a build up to Wellington.

Serevi has also named Lemeki Duidomo, Ponipate Kato, Seremaia Burotu, Emosi Vucago, Niumaia Rokobuli, Setefano Cakau, Lepani Nabuliwaqa, Osea Kolinisau and Adriu Rinakama in his 12 man team.

Serevi is also likely to be a player and coach for the South Seas Drifters side.

Meanwhile the National 7s selectors will meet today to finalise the final 12-man team to Wellington 7s tournament.
