The 16 member Digicel Fiji 7s rugby squad has one more training run to prove themselves to coach Ben Ryan for a spot in the next leg of the IRB world 7s series.

Team Manager Ropate Kauvesi said Ryan will finalize his 12 member team after the final training run this afternoon.

Kauvesi added the players have to show their commitment even until the last training run at 3pm because Ryan wants the players to know that this is different from the Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s.

It is highly likely that about three changes will be made to the side for the upcoming Dubai and South Africa 7s.

This is after Sakiusa Nadruku and Ulaiyasi Lawavou who made the trip to Gold Coast were not included in the 16 member squad.

There is a possibility that former national rep Pio Tuwai will return for the next leg along with Nadroga's Apisai Domolailai and Nadi lock forward Semi Kunatani.

In the backline, Samisoni Viriviri, Ilai Tinai, Osea Kolinisau, Benito Eremasi and Donasio Ratubuli are expected to retain their spots in the side.

If Wardens wing Leo Naikasau is selected, he may be tried at hooker like Benito Eremasi in Gold Coast.

The Digicel Fiji 7s team will be named at 6pm today before they leave for Dubai on Friday.

Fiji is pooled with England, Canada and USA for the Dubai 7s which starts next Saturday.
