As the Jarryd Hayne media circus continues, there is no confirmation from the Vodafone Fiji 7s coach, Ben Ryan on whether Hayne will play in the London 7s this weekend.
Ryan has made it clear that he will select players based on their performance and Hayne has to prove himself before he is named to play for Fiji.
Fijivillage has been informed that Ryan would like to get Hayne settled into training with the team first, and access to Fiji’s training venue is restricted.
Hayne arrived in London earlier today.
The Fiji Rugby Union says that should Jarryd Hayne be selected for the London 7s, then all media will need to apply for their access into the London 7s through the tournament organizers and can then interview him after the games.
The FRU says if Hayne is not selected, then a press statement will be released by Ben Ryan on Friday before the tournament kicks off.
