Vodafone Fiji 7s Coach, Ben Ryan, has selected his extended Squad in preparation for selection to the Wellington and Sydney 7s tournaments.
Some key players who are likely to make the team are Apisai Domolailai, Jasa Veremalua, Pio Tuwai, Osea Kolinisau, Savenaca Rawaca, Isake Katonibau and Vatemo Ravouvou and also Semi Kunatani who is expected to arrive this week from club Toulouse in France.
Some new players that will join the training squad include former Labasa goalkeeper and Wardens rover, Filipo Daugunu, Uluinakau’s Josua Vici and Westfield’s Maisivesi Dakuwaqa.
Ryan says all players are requested to bring their passports and passport photos for administration purposes.
He says the players will march into camp tomorrow and will select his final 14 member squad on Friday.
Fiji is in Pool B with Japan, Wales and Argentina.
They will take on Japan at 12.36pm and will face Wales at 3.38pm and take on Argentina at 6.46pm next Saturday.
The Wellington 7s will be held next Saturday and Sunday.
