Digicel Fiji 7s captain Osea Kolinisau is looking forward to defending the Gold Coast 7s title this weekend.
Kolinisau said that the Oceania 7s has been a good buildup for the national side and it is always their goal to win.
Kolinisau memorably scored a hat-trick in the second half of the Cup final in Hong Kong last season, inspiring the islanders to come back from 17-0 down against Wales and take the title.

Meanwhile, Wales captain Adam Thomas is now relishing the chance to take on Fiji as early as the pool stages and is confident to repeat the victory they scored against Fiji in the World Cup.
The Gold Coast 7s kicks off at 12.30pm Saturday and Fiji’s first pool match is against Canada at 1.58pm.
Fiji’s second match is against Portugal at 5.14pm and the last pool match will be against Wales at 9.24pm.
The Cup quarterfinals start at 1.58pm on Sunday, Cup semis kick off at 5.58pm and the Cup final will be played at 9.04pm.
