Rural team's are making the headlines in the two Kaji rugby competitions held in Nausori and in the Western division.

At Ratu Cakobau Park, the Lomaiviti kaji team is the team to beat in the U-14 grade beating defending champions Suva 6-5 yesterday and again continued with their impressive performance with a 14-nil win against Tailevu South.

Fiji Primary School Kaji Rugby President, Osea Tuivakano said this is the first time they have also introduced 15's rugby in the U-13 and U-14 grades.

Looking at the results from this morning in the U-9's - Naitasiri beat Rewa 14-nil, U-10 Suva beat Northland 7-nil while Rewa and Naitasiri played to a nil all draw.

In the U-12 grade, Suva beat Naitasiri 14-nil

In the Western Kaji tournament, the Cakaudrove and Macuata teams have caused upsets from the opening game this morning.

In the U-9  Macuata beat Nasinu 12-nil, Cakaudrove also beat Nadroga 14-nil, in the U-10's Cakaudrove edged host Nadi 5-nil and they also beat Waya 14-nil in the U-11 competition.

Games continue in the Kaji competition in Nausori and Nadi this afternoon.
