FMF Flying Fijians will have to go without France based Rupeni Caucau to the Rugby World Cup.
Caucau after testing positive for cannabis during the Top 14 competition in France will not be able to attend the final trials next Thursday because his suspension ends on September 13.
FRU's High performance manager Peter Murphy said they have appealed to IRB regarding the suspension of Caucau's time-frame but believes nothing will eventuate.
Murphy said now they will have to look at other options.
FMF Flying Fijians 30-man squad to France will be announced next week after the final trials at the Post Fiji stadium.
