Rupeni Caucau Off To France
Digicel Fiji 7's coach Waisale Serevi has confirmed Caucau contacted him on Saturday to inform him that he was leaving for France.
Serevi said that Caucau's dream of representing Fiji in the World Cup is still a reality, as long as he is available for the trials.
The 7's wizard also had a message for his players, who will be representing the country to the Dubai and George 7's, as this will be a chance for them to show selectors that they should be considered for the final team to defend the Melrose Cup.
Serevi said with only 3 days left in their preparation at home before leaving on Sunday, the 15 players are now fighting for the 12 places up for grabs.
Fiji is in Pool D with England, USA and Portugal at the Dubai 7's which kicks-off next Friday and Fiji plays its opening match against USA at 7:42pm.
