One of the three men charged in relation to the Agriculture Scam will know tomorrow morning from High Court judge Justice Isikeli Mataitoga whether he has a case to answer or not.

Judge Mataitoga heard from the Defense that Peli Kete's case should be dismissed on the grounds that the Prosecution has offered evidence which is not factual, as during the questioning process most of the state witnesses had contradicted each other.

The Defense went on to say that the charge is defective as there is lack of evidence to charge Kete with.

However, Judge Mataitoga said after listening to the evidence, he is satisfied that Pita Alifereti and Josefa Tapele, have a case to answer.

The High Court judge is expected to make a ruling on the no case to answer tomorrow morning.

Kete along with the other two have been charged with the $16 million Agriculture Scam between 2000 and 2001.
