A former Fiji 15's rugby player and Naitasiri wing is in Police custody and is alleged to be part of the group that robbed RB Patel Supermarket in Nausori last Friday.

Divisional Police Commander Eastern, ASP Emosi Baleinuku confirms, the rugby player was arrested on Sunday at Nakasi and is currently being questioned by Police. He is expected to be charged with robbery with violence this afternoon and to appear in court tomorrow.

Two other suspects are still at large. ASP Baleinuku said the three are alleged to have robbed the RB Patel staff who were on their way to the bank. They fled with the bag of money with a total amount of $13,800 cash and more than $1,000 cheques.
