It’s time for Iliesa Tanivula to go.

That was the call by die hard rugby fans on a talk back show on our sister station Viti FM last night as several callers on the show said that the time is right for a change.

After the disappointing 24-12 loss to South Africa in the quarter final of the Australia 7s and the 22-21 loss to Wales in the plate semifinal last night, many callers did not hide their emotions calling on the Fiji Rugby Union to act now and axe Tanivula from his coaching role.

Question were also raised on the current team which had the names on paper as one of the best ever teams to leave our shores, boosted with the inclusion of High Performance Unit Manager, Talemo Waqa with Joe Savou as Tanivula's assistant.

FRU development manager, Sale Sorovaki who was the guest last night answered many callers’ questions and said that any decision on coach Tanivula will come from the hierarchy at rugby house.
