Rugby League is expected to become more dominant in the country after the Rugby League World Cup in the United Kingdom this year.

Fiji National Rugby League chairman Peni Musunamasi has earlier stated that the sport is still developing and is expecting more improvements in years to come.

The Vodafone Fiji Bati has another huge task ahead in 2014 as they will face the Toa Samoa for a spot in the Four Nations competition.

This means that Kangaroos star and former Fiji Bati Jarryd Hayne can still play for the Bati if he wants to help Fiji secure the fourth position while Josh Papaali can feature for his home country Samoa.

Vodafone Fiji has also boosted the development of the sport after extending their contract to the next four years with $4 million.
