Australian High Commissioner James Batley believes rugby plays an important role in helping countries bridge political differences.
Batley said while the views expressed by the Australian government are different from the Interim Government it is important to note that Rugby has no political influence.
He also recalled how important to Australia the contribution Fiji has played in the past.
