The Fiji Secondary School Rugby Association is now double checking the names of each individual player from the Secondary School Teams that will take part in this week's, Coca Cola Zero Deans quarter final.

This comes after past experiences where some schools fielded in over age players to win the games.

FSSRA Official, Paula Motu said with a record number of schools taking part in this year's Tier 2 and Tier 1 competitions, it is important that they check each school as some of them are appearing for the first time.

Motu added that Northern Zone teams who have qualify for the Tier 2 quarter finals will be in Suva on Thursday ahead of their competition on Friday.

Meanwhile, this week's Deans quarter finals will start on Friday at 8am with the Tier 2 competition. For the first time schools from the North like Holy Cross Secondary from Taveuni, Labasa College, Saint Bedes and Nadogo Secondary School will be part of the Tier 2 competition. Gates at the National Stadium on Friday will open at 8am and on Saturday at 8.30am for the Tier 1 quarter finals.

In the U-19 grade, Lelean will take on Marist, RKS faces Lomawai Secondary School, Ratu Navula up against Nasinu and in the feature match at 3.30pm QVS will play Suva Grammar. You can catch the live commentary of the Grammar/QVS game on our sister station, VitiFM.
