Fiji’s two top strikers Roy Krishna and Malakai Tiwa will not feature in the semi-finals of the Pacific Games.

Krishna has been suspended for two matches for violent conduct in the match against Cook Islands while Tiwa is carrying a knee injury and has been ruled out by the doctors.

This is a big setback as both were instrumental in all Fiji’s pool matches.

Fiji will play Papua New Guinea at 4pm today which will decide the winner and runner up in Fiji’s pool.

Meanwhile, New Caledonia maintains the first spot on the medal tally with 66 gold, 51 silver and 23 bronze while Tahiti is second with 29 gold, 20 silver and 17 bronze.

Fiji is third with 13 gold, 16 silver and 23 bronze.
