Former player and coach of Lautoka soccer, Nicholas Rounds has been appointed the interim coach of Lautoka soccer team.
In a council meeting last night Lautoka officials appointed Rounds to the position which will be till the IDC.
Lautoka soccer President, Shalendra Prasad said out of all short-listed candidates, Rounds had proven records and has the heart for the blues.
Meanwhile, Lautoka officials have also lifted the suspension of two of their key players.
Samuela Kautoga and Semesa Nakosia apologised to the council for their doings and have been given another chance.
However, according to Prasad, seven key players remain suspended and they will appear before disciplinary committee today.
Prasad said these players could face long term suspension and may also be told to pay hefty fines.
The players are alleged to have boycotted training sessions before the BOG.
