Rotary Clubs of Fiji, with the assistance of Rotary NZ World Community Service, has this afternoon announced that it will provide immediately $100,000 of assistance to flood affected victims.
This assistance will be provided by way of emergency boxes, which include dry clothes, water purification equipment and basic utensils to restart after disruptions.
Additional 200 boxes are being air freighted this weekend from Rotary Clubs in New Zealand.
Rotary Clubs throughout Fiji including Nadi, Lautoka, Savusavu. Labasa and Suva have mobilised resources to provide assistance during this time.
