There are various reasons why girls fall into prostitution and there is a need to look at the root causes.
These are the words of Fiji Women's Crisis Centre Deputy Co-ordinator, Edwina Kotoisuva whose comment follows after revelations that girl as young as 12yrs old is engaged in prostitution.
Kotoisuva said there is a need to address these issues and look at assistance that could be given to these girls.
She adds that authorities should seriously look into the matter however without victimising them further.
