Fiji born All Blacks wingers, Joe Rokocoko and Sitiveni Sivivatu, have been mooted as potential recruits for next month's Rugby World Cup Sevens tournament in Dubai.

New Zealand Sevens coach Gordon Tietjens has Rokocoko and Sivivatu in his wish list but it will depend on the Blues and Chiefs coaches regarding their availabilities.

Tietjens is also eyeing Hurricanes fullback Corey Jane and Liam Messam, while Chiefs wing Sosene Anesi and Hurricanes forward Victor Vito have declared their availability for next month's Sevens World Cup in Dubai.

Tietjens said whatever the calibre of players that do make his final cut, they are much needed.

He said players such as captain DJ Forbes, Tomasi Cama Junior, Edwin Cocker and Tim Mikkelson will be assessed before he announced his team on Sunday.

All these players missed the USA Sevens tournament in San Diego last weekend because of injuries.
