The former national netball captain Unaisi Rokoura is confident that the players selected to compete at the Mini Pacific Games in Cook Islands will be able to defend their title.

Rokoura who is the assistant coach for the Fiji Netball side said the preparations have been good so far despite head coach Melissa Walker being away for a few weeks with the National Under 21 side for the World Youth Championships.

Rokoura said players named in the Team Fiji squad are looking forward for the Games despite the loss of their top goal shooter Laniana Tuisasa because of injury.
